Q: How much does it cost?
A: Ticket prices range between $75 and $200 depending on how “involved” you want to get in the music summit. $74 dollars gets you in the door and into all the educational seminars. $100 gets you in the door, all educational seminars and registered to participate in the demo listening session or the next “Midwest Superstar” competition. And for $200 you are a VIP giving you access to everything going on during the event (including the chance to meet face-to-face with all of the celebrity guests in the VIP room). All tickets get you in the door for the exclusive After Party @ Con Safos Nightclub.
Q: I Just purchased a ticket online, will the ticket be sent to me in the mail?
A: There are no tickets. Summit passes will be issued on the day of the event between 12-2pm. You will need to bring a copy of your order confirmation and a picture ID to validate your purchase.
Q: What time does the event start on Saturday, September 20th?
A: Registration opens at 10:00am (although it is suggested that you arrive the night before and register then due to the large number of attendees). The conference itself will kick-off with the keynote address by Kanye West @ 2:00pm CST.

A: Why not? Madison, WI is centrally located, it’s a close distance to most Midwestern citites and can accommodate all of our needs.
Q: Who is all scheduled to speak at the event?
A: The keynote address will be lead by Kanye West. Other panelists include industry veterans Jay Warsinske, the Legndary Traxster, Xtreme, P. Frank Williams, Heather Nelson, Roy Elkins, Ambassador and many more. Click Here to find a brief bio on each speaker
Q: Can I register for the event on September 20th (the same day as the event)?
A: Yes! However, due to the amount of work we have to do to get each registered guests accounted for, the ticket prices increase to $125, $150 and $250 (instead of $75, $100 and $200 respectively).
Q: Do you have hotel accommodations lined up for us?
A: Your ticket price does not include a hotel room however, we have contacted all of the hotels in the downtown Madison area and have listed the hotels with the best prices and location. Click Here for details
Q: Do I have to be a hip hop artist or involved in Urban/Hip Hop/Rap music to attend?
A: No! This year’s theme is more urban influenced just because we were able to secure Kanye West as our keynote speaker. All genres are welcome to attend as the information is the same no matter what kind of music you play/make/promote/etc…
Q: How Can I perform at the Summit?
A: You can perform or showcase your music by signing up for the “The Next Midwest Superstar” competition or submitting your demo for the A&R Demo Session. Click Here for more details
Q: I have a group and want to audition for the competition, do we all have to pay?
A: Yes and No, you will all need to register for the Summit at $75, But if you want to enter the competition, only one of you will need to pay the $100 Audition fee
Q: What do I need to bring to the summit?
A: You should bring anything that will promote you (ie: Demo, Business cards, Promo packets, Beat CDs, etc). This is your chance to network with 100s of Industry peers & professional, You don’t want to miss an oppertunity.
Q: Why are the ticket prices so high?
A: We tried to make this event as afforable as we could. Relatively speaking, the ticket prices are lower than most conferences (which normally start at $150- $350). There are alot of expences that go into putting something like this together, and the pricing helps us to bring the individuals that you want to network with the most. We are providing you with a unique oppertunity to help build your dreams and music carreers... which is priceless.
Q: I purchased the VIP package, Can I still audition for the “Next Midwest Superstar” competition?
A: Yes, your VIP package includes access to all panels, competitions and auditions. Simply, indicate that you want to perform at registration between 12-2pm at the Monona Terrace
